What is a Hymenoplasty?
A Hymenoplasty is a small surgical procedure to reconstruct the hymen. It is performed as a minimally invasive procedure at our surgical practice, utilizing innovative and specialist techniques under the expert care of Dr. Wagner.

How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes place under local anaesthesia and lasts approximately 30 minutes, leaving only microscopic cuts and very minimal injury to the tissue. The surgery is performed using state-of-the-art technology and techniques. Compared to other methods, wound healing is much quicker and better results are possible.
What results are possible?
After the healing process of three to six weeks, there should be some bleeding during your first sexual intercourse, just as with a natural hymen. In a private, 1-to-1 specialist consultation, Dr. Wagner will personally advise you on the expected outcomes and tailor the course of treatment to best suit your needs.
The treatment is conducted entirely in our private practice, and your absolute discretion is assured.

- Initial Consultation: A thorough review of your medical history, goals, and suitability for the treatment. Note: This surgery should only be performed on women who have not yet had a child.
- The Procedure: A minimally invasive reconstruction performed under local anaesthesia, which is nearly pain-free. Duration: approx. 30 minutes.
- Recovery & Aftercare: The complete healing process generally takes three to six weeks. Exact steps for your optimal recovery will be discussed with you individually.
What complication risks are there?
All medical interventions can carry risks. With surgical procedures, bleeding, infection, and scarring are always a possibility.
However, Dr. Wagner is highly experienced and takes great care to minimise these risks for you. The highest level of safety and care is always our priority.
Health insurance generally does not cover the costs of Hymen Reconstruction Surgery.
