Our New & Highly Experienced Midwife.

We are delighted to introduce Annika Berger, a highly skilled and dedicated midwife joining our practice. With over 20 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics, Annika brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Starting her career in 1999 after completing her midwifery training at the Hebammenschule St. Gallen, Annika has honed her skills in renowned hospitals, including the University Hospital Zurich and the University Hospital Basel. There, she provided comprehensive prenatal and delivery care, as well as leading birth preparation courses in English.

Annika’s approach to care is holistic and personalized. She integrates traditional midwifery with complementary therapies, such as acupuncture based on traditional Chinese medicine. Her diverse background includes experience in holistic nursing and support for refugees and asylum seekers, showcasing her compassionate and inclusive care philosophy.

Fluent in German, English, French, and conversational Spanish, Annika is able to connect with a wide range of patients, ensuring everyone feels understood and supported. Her dedication to continuous learning is reflected in her additional qualifications, which include advanced courses in reflective practice, birth preparation, and leadership training.

With her warmth, empathy, and extensive expertise, Annika is committed to providing each family with the highest quality of care throughout their pregnancy and birthing journey. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team.
